UniverSUL’s Managing Director, Angie Slavens, has 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily focused on sour gas and sulphur recovery technologies. Angie previously served as sulphur technology manager for two of the world’s top tier sulphur technology licensing firms. Throughout her career, Angie has observed that selected plant configurations, while technically sound and capable of meeting product and emissions specifications, are not always the most economically attractive. In most of these cases, owners are not even aware of the lost opportunity costs.
Recognizing her well-connected position and good rapport with the major industry licensors and EPC contractors, Angie founded UniverSUL Consulting, with the motivation to facilitate improved communication and information transfer between owner and contractor, ultimately leading to greater techno-commercial success for all parties involved in the delivery of complex sour oil and gas projects.
